The Commerce Tigers lost against the Pottsboro Cardinals back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Commerce took a serious blow against Pottsboro, falling 34-6. It was the first time this season that Commerce let down their fans at home.
Commerce has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-3 record this season. As for Pottsboro, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-1.
Commerce will head out on the road to face off against Mineola at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pottsboro, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mount Vernon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mount Vernon is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
