The Faith Christian Saints lost against the True North Knights last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Faith Christian took a serious blow against the Knights, falling 73-41. Faith Christian has not had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Despite the loss, Faith Christian still got an impressive performance from Dylan Martinez, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. That was a full 36.6% of Faith Christian's points, marking the ninth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Bryan Galvan was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
True North got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Isaac Calisch out in front who scored 21 points along with eight steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaxson Moss, who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds.
Faith Christian now has a losing record at 5-6. As for True North, they pushed their record up to 13-7 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
Faith Christian will head out on the road to square off against the Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for True North, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Colts at 6:00 p.m.
