The Dora Bulldogs lost against the Carbon Hill Bulldogs back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Dora suffered a tough 64-39 defeat at the hands of Carbon Hill. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Dora in their matchups with Carbon Hill: they've now lost three in a row.
Dora's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Chijoki Washington, who scored 7 points along with 6 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddix Harrison, who scored 7 points.
Dora's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Carbon Hill, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dora's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Oakman at 7:00 p.m. on December 8th. Carbon Hill will take on Winfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Winfield knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matchups -- so hopefully Carbon Hill likes a good challenge.
