It was a good run, but The Christopher Cougars unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Friday. They fell to Live Oak 28-24. Christopher was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Live Oak apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.
Live Oak had a senior duo take command as Josh Gagni rushed for 142 yards and a touchdown and Christian Hauge rushed for 81 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.
Christopher's defeat dropped their record down to 9-1. As for Live Oak, their win was their eighth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 9-0.
Christopher does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Live Oak also has no future games currently scheduled.
