Volleyball Recap: Centerville Wins Going Away Against Highwood + How To Watch

Centerville had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Highwood on Thursday. The Miners blew past the Mountaineers 3-0. The Miners not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 19, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

The win didn't come easy: Highwood scored at least 20 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 27-25, 25-20.

Livy Lorang paced Centerville's offense, picking up 11 kills. Lorang got some help from Abby Fann and her 12 assists. Lorang was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

The victory got Centerville back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Centerville will be playing at home against Big Sandy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Highwood, they will face off against Belt at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
