Bloomfield won against Pembroke  on Tuesday with eight  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Thursday. The Bombers beat the Caledonia-Mumford Raiders by the very same score they won with in their prior game:  8-1. The result was nothing new for the Bombers, who have now won 15 contests by seven  runs or more  so far this season.
 Ashlyn Wright made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit while striking out 15 over 6.2 innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in ten consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with two  RBI and one  double.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Brianna Leitten, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Sydney Falsone, who  went 3-for-4 with two  runs and one  stolen base.
 Bloomfield  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 13  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits in eight consecutive  matchups.
Bloomfield pushed their record up to 18-1 with the  win, which was their 19th straight  at home dating back to last season. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 11.5 runs this season.
