Pioneer extended their road winning streak to nine games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Noah Vanmeter. The Panthers enjoyed a cozy 31-14 victory over the South Adams Starfires on Friday for which the team can thank Vanmeter, who rushed for 185 yards and two scores while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 103.5 rushing yards per game.

Pioneer didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Eli Guffey and Shiloh Rine.

Pioneer's record now sits at 13-1. As for South Adams, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-4.

Coming up, Pioneer will face off against South Putnam at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. South Adams does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
