Glen Rose came into Wednesday's   contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past the Two Rivers Gators 15-1 on Wednesday. Considering the Beavers have won seven matches by more than five  runs this season, Wednesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 G Hood was a  major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit while striking out eight over six innings pitched. He also  tossed  no  earned runs, which is notable because Glen Rose is 4-2 when he allows at  most  two  earned runs, but 5-8 otherwise. Hood was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances with two  runs and one  triple.
 In other batting news,  P. Long was a standout: he got on base  in three of his five plate appearances with three  stolen bases, three  runs,  and two  RBI. Glen Rose is undefeated when  Long posts two or  more  runs, but 6-10 otherwise.  W Stanley was another key player,  going 1-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
Glen Rose's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Two Rivers, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.
 Looking ahead, Glen Rose will take on Carlisle at 5:00  p.m.  on Saturday. As for Two Rivers, they will square off against Mayflower at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday.
