Basketball Recap: Omaha Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Omaha Christian Academy played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 69-31 loss at the hands of the Tekamah-Herman Tigers. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-11.

Omaha Christian Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Jeevan James and Nathan Friesen. James went 6 of 13 en route to 16 points, while Friesen posted ten points. Those 16 points gave James a new career-high.

Omaha Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Tekamah-Herman, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Omaha Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Walthill on January 3, 2025.
