Immanuel Christian put the finishing touches on their 15th blowout victory of the season on Saturday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 76-22 victory over Amarillo Collegiate Academy. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Immanuel Christian has managed all season.
Immanuel Christian relied on the efforts of Ben Story, who scored 21 points along with two steals, and Hector Perez, who shot 4-for-6 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 assists. Story hasn't dropped below 15points for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Ayala, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
Van Horn posted their biggest victory since December 7, 2023 on Friday. They breezed by Fort Davis on the road to the tune of 66-13.
Immanuel Christian pushed their record up to 18-6 with that win, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 38.67 points. As for Van Horn, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.
