Babcock found their leader in sophomore Finn Habing, who almost dropped a double-double with 26 points and nine boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Habing has scored all season. Myles Perez was another key player, putting up eight points and three steals.
Naples Classical's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Babcock, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-9.
Looking ahead, Naples Classical will look to defend their home court on Monday against Donahue Catholic at 4:00 p.m. The Academy will need to watch out since the Shamrocks have now posted at least 55 points in their last four games. As for Babcock, they will challenge The Classical Academy of Sarasota at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
