Santee found their leader in underclassman Darnell Miller, who scored 23 points. Another player making a difference was Israel Snowden, who scored 14 points.
Dr. Maya Angelou Community dropped their record down to 13-12 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Santee, their victory bumped their record up to 4-10.
Dr. Maya Angelou Community will be playing in front of their home fans against Los Angeles at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Santee, they will head out on the road to take on Jefferson at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Jefferson comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
