The Baptist Prep Eagles will be playing at home against the Mayflower Eagles at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
 Baptist Prep was handed a 14-point  loss in their previous outing, but they didn't let that bad energy affect their game against Jacksonville on Thursday. Baptist Prep skirted past Jacksonville  8-6. The  victory was just what Baptist Prep needed coming off of  a  19-5 defeat in their prior  match.
  Titus Yager was  excellent,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Aaron Fielder, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Mayflower sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  10-9  win over Perryville  on Tuesday. The  victory was just what Mayflower needed coming off of  a  23-8 loss in their prior  game.
 Baptist Prep's win  ended  a  five-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 7-6. As for Mayflower, their victory bumped their record up to 7-9.
