On Friday Wahpeton take on Valley City at 7:00 PM. Wahpeton are limping into the game on a 3-game losing streak.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-55, which was the final score in Wahpeton's tilt against St. Mary's Central last week.
Meanwhile, after having lost a blowout to St. Mary's Central in their previous match, Valley City were happy to find some success. Valley City were the clear victor by a 32-0 margin over Grafton/St. Thomas/Drayton. Valley City were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Valley City's victory lifted them to 1-2 while Wahpeton's defeat dropped them down to 0-3. We'll see if Valley City's success rolls on or if Wahpeton are able to steal their positive momentum.
