Kenedi Wright was the offensive standout of the game as she almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine boards. Those nine rebounds gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Celena Grant, who posted 11 points and seven boards.
Several Diamond Hornets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Taelor Hiller-Johnson, who had six points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. Hiller-Johnson is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in each of the last seven games she's played. Jhnai Sumter was another key player, putting up nine points and five boards.
North Augusta pushed their record up to 29-1 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 37.1 points. As for Lower Richland, their defeat ended a 15-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 25-2.
