The Bay Tornadoes will take on the North Bay Haven Academy Buccaneers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Bay Haven Academy took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Bay, who comes in off a win.
On Wednesday, Bay needed a bit of extra time to put away Rutherford. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Rams 5-4. The win was nothing new for the Tornadoes as they're now sitting on three straight.
Eliott Richter made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-5.

In other pitching news, Liam Adams looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Calvin Howard, who went 3-for-6 with two stolen bases and two RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.
Bay kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, North Bay Haven Academy suffered their biggest defeat since March 10th on Tuesday. They lost 12-4 to Blountstown. Buccaneers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Tigers since on Tuesday.
Jack Peaden was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI.
Bay's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-7. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for North Bay Haven Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-9.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Thursday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Bay has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9.5 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like North Bay Haven Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 7.7 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Bay skirted past North Bay Haven Academy 6-5 in their previous matchup back in February. Do the Tornadoes have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Buccaneers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
