Richmond Hill barely beat John Adams the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lions never let the Spartans get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory on Tuesday. Considering the Lions have won six matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Christopher Duarte and Adrian Hernandez V made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Duarte pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Hernandez V tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. At the plate, Duarte went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double, while Hernandez V went 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

In other batting news, Abel Ortiz was incredible, going 1-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Dwan Fernandez, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

The win (which was Richmond Hill's fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-2-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for John Adams, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Richmond Hill will have a chance to go back-to-back against John Adams: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
