Berkshire School had lost six straight on the road dating back to last season, but  on Saturday they dropped their record down to 2-6 to make it seven. They came up short against  the Frederick Gunn Highlanders, falling  11-0. The Bears were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Highlanders earlier this season, when they won  2-1.
As for Frederick Gunn,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 4-10. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
For Frederick Gunn's part, they got a great performance from  Trey LaMay as he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. LaMay has been consistent: he hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in five consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  Travis Lapinsky was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  stolen base. Those  three  RBI gave  him a new career-high.  Evan Bailey also deserves some recognition as  he  brought in his first  RBI of the season.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Berkshire School will welcome Millbrook School  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Frederick Gunn, they will look to defend their home field  on Wednesday against Salisbury School  at 2:30  p.m. The Crimson Knights will roll in looking for their  sixth straight  win, something the Highlanders surely won't give up without a fight.
