Baseball Recap: Harvest Christian Academy Beats Dallas Academy for Their Eighth Straight Victory

Harvest Christian Academy waltzed into their game on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They put the hurt on the Dallas Academy Bulldogs with a sharp 26-0 victory. Considering the Saints have won nine contests by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Elijah Mann made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. Mann was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three RBI and one stolen base. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

In other batting news, Harvest Christian Academy got a massive performance out of Jase French, who went 3-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and four RBI. That's the most RBI French has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Judah Mann, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple.

Harvest Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .674. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Dallas Academy only posted an OBP of .286.

Harvest Christian Academy pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Dallas Academy, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
