Crowder has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Buffalo Valley Buffaloes at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Saturday, things could have been worse for Crowder, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 44-29 loss to Savanna. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Crowder has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Buffalo Valley's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They were the victim of a tough 51-31 loss at the hands of Webster. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Buffalo Valley has suffered since November 28, 2023.
Crowder has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for Buffalo Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-13.
Crowder skirted past Buffalo Valley 64-61 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Crowder since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
