It was a good run, but Jim Hill unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 55-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Forest Hill Patriots. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Tigers came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 39th, while the Patriots are ranked 137th).

Jim Hill's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Forest Hill, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-12.

Jim Hill wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 50-41 defeat against Terry on the 9th. As for Forest Hill, they will face off against West Jones at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
