North Collins and Eden are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2019, but not for long. The North Collins Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Eden Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
North Collins had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a serious blow against Bolivar-Richburg, falling 70-39.
Meanwhile, Eden didn't have too much trouble with Lake Shore on the road on Friday as they won 64-47.
Taesyn Slating was the offensive standout of the matchup as he scored 26 points along with 6 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Tyler Wakelam, who scored 11 points along with 6 rebounds.
North Collins' defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Eden, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
North Collins came up short against Eden when the teams last played back in January, falling 54-49. Can North Collins avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
