Julie Hess was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out 11 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off four hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI.
