It was a good run, but  the Balko Bison unfortunately witnessed the end of their  four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a serious blow against Boise City, falling  60-32. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  loss Balko has suffered  yet this season.
 Despite the  defeat, Balko had strong showings from  Kelby Sager, who  scored four points along with 12  rebounds, and  Emelie Trentham, who  scored 12 points. That's the first time this season that  Sager  pulled down eight or more   rebounds.
 Balko's defeat  ended  a  four-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 10-4. As for Boise City, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven games,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Balko and Shattuck will face off  on January 20th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in Oklahoma (Shattuck is ranked 225th, while Balko is ranked 209th). Boise City won't have much time to rest: their next  game is against Hooker on January 20th. Hooker is coming into the  matchup hot, having won their last three games.
