St. David lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Willcox, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Saturday's game. The St. David Tigers put the hurt on the Willcox Cowboys with a sharp 10-1 victory on Saturday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Tigers needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Luke Haymore was a standout: he scored three runs while going 3-for-3. What's more, he posted two doubles, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Merrill, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

St. David's win bumped their record up to 2-4-1. As for Willcox, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6-1 record this season.

St. David will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Baboquivari at 3:45 p.m. This will be St. David's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Willcox, they will face off against Ray at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Ray will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Willcox surely won't give up without a fight.
