The Nashville Christian Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Columbia Academy Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Nashville Christian has 17 straight victories, Columbia Academy has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Friday, Nashville Christian beat Tyner Academy 49-42. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Eagles' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Rams are ranked 37th).

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Columbia Academy's offense. They were beaten by Marshall County 45-0 last Friday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Bulldogs haven't been shut out since back in August.
Columbia Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Nashville Christian, their win bumped their record up to 7-0.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's contest: Nashville Christian has been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 417.3 total yards per game. It's a different story for Columbia Academy, though, as they've been averaging only 206 total yards. Will Nashville Christian be able to march up the field at their leisure again, or will the Bulldogs flip the script?
Everything came up roses for Nashville Christian against Columbia Academy when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 49-21 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
