Despite their loss, Jensen Beach saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Jason Curry jr., who scored nine points along with 11 rebounds and four steals, was perhaps the best of all. Charlie Alexander was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Okeechobee over Bayside in every quarter on their way to victory on Monday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Okeechobee blew Bayside out of the water with a 44-15 final score. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Okeechobee has posted since November 30, 2023.
Jensen Beach's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Okeechobee, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.
Jensen Beach came out on top in a nail-biter against Okeechobee in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, sneaking past 50-48. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Okeechobee's Oliver Saunders, who scored 23 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
