The Blue Valley Rams scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They put the hurt on Onaga with a sharp 59-39 victory. The win was just what Blue Valley needed coming off of a 55-30 loss in their prior match.
Despite the loss, Onaga still got an impressive performance from Bridgett Campbell, who scored 15 points along with five assists and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Delaney Figge, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Even though they lost, Onaga were working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Blue Valley's win bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Onaga, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.
Blue Valley will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Washington County. As for Onaga, they will head out on the road to challenge Doniphan West at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Onaga is coming into the matchup with ten straight losses on the road, meaning Doniphan West will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory.
