Blue Ridge is 9-1 against Berea since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Fighting Tigers will face off against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Blue Ridge knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Berea likes a good challenge.

Blue Ridge barely beat Daniel the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Fighting Tigers blew past the Lions 13-3 on Tuesday. The Fighting Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Kilee Grant tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 14 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Blue Ridge let Bella Sands and Lily Mulkey run wild. Sands went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double, while Mulkey went 2-for-4 with four runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most runs Sands has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Khloe Metcalf, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Blue Ridge always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Daniel only posted an OBP of .304.

Meanwhile, Berea hadn't done well against Greer recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Bulldogs won by a run and slipped past the Yellow Jackets 4-3.

Berea's record is now 9-10-1. As for Blue Ridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Everything went Blue Ridge's way against Berea in their previous meeting back in April, as Blue Ridge made off with a 10-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Fighting Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
