On Tuesday, Kress was able to grind out a solid victory over Motley County, taking the game 45-33.
Darian Amador was the offensive standout of the match as he scored 20 points along with five steals. That's the first time this season that he scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Gilles, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
Kress' win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-10. As for Motley County, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 3-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kress will challenge Lazbuddie at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Lazbuddie is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Motley County will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Spur at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th.
