Make it five blowout wins for the Babcock Trailblazers this season. They blew past Sarasota Military Academy 44-20. Winning may never get old, but Babcock sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Babcock was led to victory by Nathan Allen and Jameson Habing. Allen dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds, while Habing scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. That makes it three consecutive games in which Habing has scored at least a third of Babcock's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Finn Habing, who scored five points along with three steals.
Babcock pushed their record up to 5-9 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Sarasota Military Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.
Babcock will head out on the road to challenge The Classical Academy of Sarasota at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Classical Academy of Sarasota has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 5. As for Sarasota Military Academy, they will be playing at home against Imagine School at North Port at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
