Legacy Christian Academy took a 37-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cincinnati Country Day on Saturday. While losing is never fun, Legacy Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 106th, while Cincinnati Country Day is ranked 25th).
Despite the loss, Legacy Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Autumn Allport scored 7 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 blocks. Another player making a difference was Anna Sweeney, who scored 6 points.
Legacy Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Cincinnati Country Day, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Legacy Christian Academy will take on Stebbins at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cincinnati Country Day, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Roger Bacon at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Roger Bacon focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Saturday.
