Academy for Innovative Education lost on Friday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Matthew Johnson, who scored 12 points. Ryan Zaldivar was another key contributor, scoring six points along with four steals.
Academy for Innovative Education struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Downtown Doral racked up 26 assists.
Downtown Doral's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-13.
