In other batting news, the team relied heavily on MacKenzie Martin, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Kaelani Rogers, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Newman Smith's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Creekview hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .315. It's a different story for Newman Smith, though, as they've only averaged .110. Will they be able to contain Creekview's hitters?
Creekview took their win against Newman Smith in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 13-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
