Creekview took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over The Colony. Considering the Mustangs have won ten matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Kelis Lee made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on MacKenzie Martin, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Kaelani Rogers, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
Creekview always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as The Colony only posted an OBP of .310.
Meanwhile, Newman Smith was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 36th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 10-0 to Highland Park.
