The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Heritage Christian Academy in their matchups with Falcon Christian Academy: they've now lost six in a row.
Despite the loss, Heritage Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Bryce Anderson scored 16 points. Anderson scored a full 44.4% of Heritage Christian Academy's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Schroeder, who scored 8 points.
Falcon Christian Academy had a senior duo take command as Jordan McMillian scored 18 points along with 8 assists and 5 steals and Jereveon Glenn scored 17 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 steals. The matchup was Glenn's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Demetrius McDaniel was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Heritage Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Falcon Christian Academy, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
