Skyline Prep has been on the road for two straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Premier Prep- PHHoenix Fire at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Tuesday, Skyline Prep ended up a good deal behind AZ Compass Prep National and lost 74-57. While losing is never fun, Skyline Prep can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 207th, while AZ Compass Prep National is ranked third).
Premier Prep- PHHoenix fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They took down BASIS - Scottsdale 72-56 on Tuesday.
Skyline Prep bumped their record down to 2-13 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Premier Prep- PHHoenix, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-13.
