North Buncombe came out on top against Erwin by a score of 51-38. The win made it back-to-back wins for North Buncombe.
North Buncombe found their leader in underclassman Aubrey Gilliland, who scored seven points along with six assists and five rebounds. Lily Metcalf was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with two steals.
North Buncombe's victory bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Erwin, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season.
North Buncombe will be playing in front of their home fans against Asheville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Asheville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Tuesday. As for Erwin, they will head out on the road to face off against T.C. Roberson at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. T.C. Roberson is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home.
