On Friday Gillett take on Oneida Nation at 7:00 PM. Gillett come in off of three low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the team is obviously eager to reverse.
Gillett have to be aching after a bruising 6-38 defeat to Sevastopol last Friday. Gillett were down by 6-38 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Oneida Nation, and their match last Friday only extended their streak of losses to six. They were completely outmatched, falling 7-44 to Lena/Aquinas. Oneida Nation were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-22.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the win. Neither squad could put together much of an offensive attack, so expect every point to count.
