Williamstown had lost five straight on the road, but on Saturday they dropped their record down to 7-14 to make it six. They took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kingsway Dragons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-5 back in April.
As for Kingsway, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6-1 record this season. Winning may never get old, but they sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
For Kingsway's part, Killian McCaffrey tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts McCaffrey has posted since back in April.
At the plate, Dylan Rickards was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Taylor, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.
