Notre Dame is on an 11-game streak of home losses (dating back to last season), Colton a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Notre Dame Titans will take on the Colton Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Notre Dame pushed their score all the way to 42 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Bloomington 47-42.
Despite the loss, Notre Dame got a solid performance out of Deon Jordan, who rushed for 270 yards on only 15 carries. Jordan was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 67 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Mark Cadena, who threw for 154 yards and three touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Colton's game on Friday was all tied up 14-14 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 30-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of Arroyo Valley.
Despite the defeat, Colton saw an underclassman step up: Koa Regalado threw for 268 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Alex Juarez was another key contributor, picking up 104 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Notre Dame's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Colton, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
Notre Dame came up short against Colton in their previous matchup back in October of 2022, falling 50-46. Will Notre Dame have more luck at home instead of on the road?
