If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Howell. On Friday they take on Howell North at 7:00 PM. Howell are cruising in on a four-game winning streak while Howell North are stumbling in off of six consecutive losses.
Howell strolled past Fort Zumwalt West with points to spare last Friday, taking the game 34-14.
Meanwhile, Howell North have to be hurting after a devastating 6-34 defeat at the hands of Howell Central. Howell North were down by 6-26 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Howell took the contest and then some with a 42-7 win the last time the two teams met over Howell North. The rematch might be a little tougher for Howell since the team won't have home-field advantage. Watch the game and check back on MaxPreps to see if the change in venue makes a difference.
