Hamilton put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 28-12 win over the Basha Bears. Those 28 points were actually the fewest the Huskies have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.
A big part of Hamilton's victory came down to the chemistry between Jax Sculley and his top target Roye Oliver III. Sculley threw for 287 yards and three TDs while completing 75% of his passes while Oliver III picked up 210 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Oliver III really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 90 yards.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Hamilton's defense and their seven sacks. Leading the way was Derrick Leblanc Jr with three. Connor Strand was another major factor on D, picking up a sack, forcing one fumble, and making five total tackles.
Hamilton's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Basha, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-1.
Hamilton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 63-0 victory against Cesar Chavez on the 30th. As for Basha, they have also already played their next matchup, a 41-33 win against Mesa on the 31st.
