The Milwaukee Reagan Huskies pushed their score all the way to 78 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a hard 94-78 fall against Milwaukee Juneau. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (57), Milwaukee Reagan still had to take the loss.
Milwaukee Juneau found their leader in underclassman Dooney Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. Johnson has been hot recently, having posted 19 or more points the last nine times he's played. Another player making a difference was Kiyun Robinson, who scored 15 points along with four steals.
Milwaukee Reagan's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Milwaukee Juneau, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Milwaukee Reagan will challenge Waukesha North at 12:35 p.m. on Monday. As for Milwaukee Juneau, they will head out on the road to face off against Milwaukee School of Languages at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Milwaukee Juneau has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
