John Battle's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Gate City, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7.
John Battle won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Virginia High at 5:00 p.m. on January 27th. Virginia High is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games. As for Gate City, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Abingdon at 6:30 p.m. Abingdon is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
