LOS ANGELES, Calif. - After trading leads three times,
Wilson (Los Angeles, Calif.) snatched the lead for good when they scored a touchdown in the third quarter, paving the way for victory over
Alhambra (Calif.) 24-13.
After taking the lead on a
Michael Valenzuela touchdown run, the Moors went into halftime with a 13-7 lead. The Mighty Mules scored the winning points with a touchdown that came in the third quarter.
Wilson got revenge for last year's 28-14 loss to Alhambra with the victory.
The loss was the fourth in a row for AHS. The win brought Wilson's winning streak to four games.
Wilson (4-0) will play a non-conference game against Diego Rivera Learning Complex next week, while Alhambra (0-4) will take on South Pasadena also in a non-conference game.
