The Northglenn Norsemen's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight defeat. They fell 51-40 to Horizon. Northglenn has struggled against the Hawks recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Northglenn still got an impressive performance from Jose Jaimes, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Scrivani, who scored five points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Horizon to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aiden Greene, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds. Alex Mccollum was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Northglenn has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Horizon, they pushed their record up to 9-7 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northglenn will take on the Lobos at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Horizon, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the SaberCats at 6:30 p.m. Fossil Ridge knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully the Hawks likes a good challenge.
