They took their contest at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 57-15 win over Ascent Classical Academy. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 37-9.
Addenbrooke Classical Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Reena Lanzen out in front who scored 17 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Lanzen has scored at least 25% of Addenbrooke Classical Academy's points. Peyton Trujillo was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 steals.
The victory got Addenbrooke Classical Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Ascent Classical Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
