There's no place like home for Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They blew past the Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon Pirate 3-0 on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Falcons also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2021.

Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-20, 25-18.

Lara Gavrilovic paced Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas' offense, picking up ten kills. Gavrilovic got some help from Analeigh Na and her 11 assists. Elliette Olson controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Pinecrest Academy Cadence at 6:00 p.m. After both having extra time off, Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon and Chaparral will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on September 2.
