Providence Catholic came out on top against Unity Christian Academy by a score of 64-52. Winning may never get old, but Providence Catholic sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Several Phoenix players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jeremiah Johns, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Shamar Coleman, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Providence Catholic has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 14-12 record this season. As for Unity Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-9.
Providence Catholic will head out on the road to challenge Evergreen Park at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Evergreen Park has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 647 points over their last ten matches. As for Unity Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Steel City Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
