Manville lost against Delaware Valley back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mustangs fell 10-5 to the Terriers. The Mustangs' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Brandon Shimp made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI. Josh D'Ambrosio was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Manville's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Delaware Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Manville will host Bound Brook at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Crusaders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.1 runs per game on average), something the Mustangs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Delaware Valley, they will challenge Hopewell Valley Central at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
